How did you begin the music? My brothers and my sister play of the violin. Si I followed the movement. Since when are you playing the bass? I started in 1980. And your first bass,do you still remember it? Completely, it was an Epiphone Genesis. It was manufactured in Japan and it was a very good instrument. Why the bass? I was listening to Deep Purple when I realized that I wanted to start to play the bass. I was attracted by the sound. What differentiate you from the other bass players? I try to adapt new methods of playing this instrument still rather young. On an electric bass with four strings, one of the characteristics of my play consists in using a finger by string (index for the E, major one for the A, directory for the D and auricular for the G). It goes without saying as this technique is used as well in play-with-fingers as in slap. Which is your actuality? Let me say that I am a little tired to play in groups. The bass is not only a “groove” machine, it is above all an instrument with whole share. For a few years already, I have created and played publicly my own compositions in solo.
